Jumping around in Tian an men, dances in heaven

The many old couples dancing away at the Temple of Heaven 天坛(and it was COLD OUT)

I stumbled upon these foreigners who were trying to play a game of shuttlecock "Asian hacky sack' with the locals. This is attempt #2. I think he got it down.

Heading home! Sky looks dead pissed. But no...I don't think he was

(The odd signs we find)

Christmas is less than two weeks. My sense of time is not functioning in the communist realm, It didn't even hit me that Thanksgiving rolled around and now Christmas time is here. Past two days I basically stuffed myself with sushi. Peiyi mentioned 'good (and yet cheap) sushi doesn't really exist in Boulder. Eat while you can."

Christmas: two weeks,
Everyone leaving: one week. Time has gone so fast.
Baby with apple (Tian an men entrance)

Today was full of adventure in the first ring. Lisa, Steph, Sky and I traveled to Tian an Men square. props to Steph who wore a skirt and warm stockings. It was quite chilly, but we still managed to frolick around Tian men. I love the shots i got of Steph and Lisa. Really love the color contrast with the city and their clothes. Yes I know quite nerdy of me to observe that.

From Tian an men we took the metro from line 1 to line 5 where we met up with Jane, Jess and Amy (with their parentals) at the Altar of Heaven.
Temple of Heaven is one of the many 'senior hot spots' for old Beijingers. The sing old communist songs, dance to revamped communist songs (disco style), play cards or chill. There was an old man decked out in black with matching cowboy hat dancing folk style with another lady. He is the coolest old dude. We danced too.

My sense of the Xmas holiday is returning. Lisa is helping out the best by spreading festive Christmas carols. Her voice is so beautiful.

YOU ROCK OLD MAN!!! Keep on dancing and charming the old brods.
