My current visa is driving me insane. First of all PKU is stupid. The PKU International office enjoys tormenting me and the rest of the CIEE folks who were trying to extend, renew or apply for a residence permit. The guy I should talk to is NEVER THERE! Answers are always vague and they blame for all my problems, when it's their fault for the 90 day visa!
HK was my initial plan, but frustration and school work swept over. So I got an extension and handed over 100$ USD. Those bastards just want my $$$$. is it that hard to give your year long students a 180 multiple entry visa? Why am I, Keegan and Jian getting screwed over? Apparently Devon has the right one. There was the option of applying for a residence permit to avoid this giant mess, but no!! "don't worry about it we'll take care of it." They would tell us (keegan, jian and I) They build all these imaginary barriers. It's what China does best. After Chinese characters class I discovered that Keegan and Carmen (the sketchy Indian with a Shanghai online girlfriend (jailbait) are direct enrolling into PKU. They suggested I go, but I refuse. I'm modest about my Chinese. I'm intimidated and fear I can't handle the course load. Keegan couldn't believe me. He kept telling me tto think about it. ACS? Adv Chinese Studies? We'll see.
