One year anniversary of the '08 Summer Games. To celebrate such a momentous triump. Big cities have some sorts of events taking place; marathons, dances. At the Bird's Nest in Beijing a billion civillians adorned in white tai chi robes are performing sychronized 24 step tai-chi. Scary? Yes. I saw it on tv. Then the mass amounts of people got soaked in rain. The celebration got delayed. Funny? I thought so.
I'm celebrating w/pre-Autumn monsoon rain. Beijing is also enjoying that too from the looks of it on the telly. Initially Aunt was to spend the entire day on the shore of the Yellow River, reuniting with her high school class with copious amounts of tea. Rain relocated us to her friend's house. A big spacy apartment. Tea, fruit, and cakes were passed among her smiling friends. Getting there caused major trauma to my feet. Soaking wet feet. FUN. I went through ankle deep puddles as water lines were bursting.
Currently we are just finishing another elaborate meal at another big fancy restaurant. To conclude the meal the guys started another round of drinking games. I drank a lot of Dad's liquor (55% proof) They thought I couldn't down a shot. I proved them wrong. It burns worse than vodka. I later chased it down with tea.
