Boulder has just been hit by another blanket of snow. I saw the thick flurries descend from the sky as midnight hit the clock. When it snows during the dark of night I always feel a sense of happiness. It's peaceful, but then peace was shattered by a wave of drunk people walking around outside. I had no idea that living on the 4th floor of an apartment complex you can hear every damn thing happening below.

Right now the sun has decided to wake up, peer out over the city with its piercing rays of light bouncing onto the new blankets of snow then reflecting into my window waking myself up. The light is overwhelming, I go blind if I try to open my eyes. Our living room window overlooks Baseline road, the soccer field, and the attractive parking lot of Williams Village aka Will vill. Sure the view doesn't sound quite appealing, but it's better than overlooking U.S 36 and inhaling all the pollution when the windows are open.

The semester is drawing near an end, and I have a lot of work that I must do. Language and Sound structures is the class that I should put more focus and work smarter. I finally got a B on one of my papers in my Freshman writing class; honestly this guy is such a hard grader. And hey that's a good thing, nothing is really easy in life and I can't subject myself to get an easy A that's like cheating. Okay, the wind howls like none other then again my window's aren't properly shut. There is like a little crack that no matter how tight we shut the windows there is that little crack. Aside from classes, there's so much that I need to get done. Primarily is getting my affairs ready for my study abroad in Beijing next fall. There's the visa, the plane ticket, figuring out scholarships
